Ek Bada Achcha Dost

Like Kabuliwala's fragrant dry-fruits, this story has come from Iran with Babak Saberi's story and Mehrdad Zayeri's illustrations. Every moment is a moment of friendship. A tiny bird becomes a friend of a huge elephant.

A young bird tells her mother bird- Ammi see, the size of our shadow is the same...same to same. What will any mother in this world say to this?
This is a story of friendship between a crow and an elephant.

Mehrdad Zayeri shared that she has faced rehabilitation too often in her life. Her mother used to worry about how she would adjust in a new place, in a new country. This story is like a memory of my frequent displacement and rehabilitation, she says.
